Electronics repair

“TV repair” is not one search. It’s forty.

People do not search for television repair. They search for their screen type, their brand and their locality — and each of those combinations was a page LCD Care did not have.

The brief

LCD Care repairs televisions — LED, LCD and Smart TVs across Sony, Samsung, LG, Haier and Videocon — plus microwaves and micro ovens, from Uttam Nagar with coverage across a wider set of cities.

The problem was not the service. It was that a single “TV repair” page was trying to catch a search behaviour that fragments in three directions at once: by screen technology, by brand, and by area. Somebody whose Samsung Smart TV has a broken panel does not type “electronics repair service”.

  • Cover the way people actually search — by screen type and by brand
  • Handle a genuinely urgent customer: broken TV, wants someone today
  • Make on-site home repair obvious, since that is the main objection
  • Do all of this without building fifty near-identical doorway pages
02

The approach

The sitemap was built from search behaviour rather than from the business’s own org chart. Five distinct service pages — best TV repair, Smart TV repair, LED TV repair, LCD TV repair, microwave repair — each one written for a genuinely different visitor with a genuinely different fault, not the same paragraph with a word swapped.

That distinction matters and it is where most local service sites go wrong. Thirty pages that differ only by a city name are doorway pages, and Google penalises them. Five pages that differ because an LCD panel fault and a Smart TV software fault are actually different problems are simply good content.

Everything else was built around urgency. Screen replacement availability, home repair, and a phone number that never leaves the screen — because a customer with a dead television is not filling in a contact form and waiting.

  • Service pages by screen type. Smart, LED and LCD treated as separate repair jobs, because they are.
  • Brand coverage stated plainly. Sony, Samsung, LG, Haier and Videocon named, so brand searches find a match.
  • Home repair promoted. The single biggest objection — carrying a TV somewhere — answered up front.
  • Real pages, not doorways. Depth per page rather than a page per permutation.
  • Gallery and blog. Completed repairs as proof, maintenance content for search relevance.

What shipped

  • A Core PHP site organised around five service categories
  • Dedicated pages: best TV repair, Smart TV, LED TV, LCD TV, microwave repair
  • Brand coverage across Sony, Samsung, LG, Haier and Videocon
  • Home and on-site repair positioned as the headline convenience
  • Persistent call button and enquiry form for the urgent customer
  • Visual gallery of completed repairs
  • Blog covering repair tips and maintenance
  • Local SEO anchored on Uttam Nagar with the wider service area covered honestly
04

What changed

One page became five, and each of those five now competes for a search the old site could not reach. More importantly, each one lands the visitor on content about their fault, which is the difference between a bounce and a phone call.

The restraint mattered as much as the expansion. It would have been easy — and briefly effective — to generate forty city-plus-brand pages. That approach reliably gets sites penalised six months later, and the cleanup costs more than the traffic was ever worth. Five real pages was the right number.

Project and client counts shown on the live site are LCD Care’s own figures. No ranking or traffic claims are made here — see the site.
